My property journey hasn’t been an easy one. Like most people, I was raised to think you should save up for
the house you want to live in, buy it, then work for the rest of your life paying off the mortgage. And so, that’s
what I was doing. But then Covid hit and turned my world upside down.
I’d been working in the retail industry for 20 years before Covid, so I’d experienced hard periods in my career
before. But this was different. The situation forced me to realise there must be a better way to create wealth
than to work a backbreaking job until retirement. So I started researching and found that better way: building
a property investment portfolio.
Through my research I discovered knowledge and skills about property investing I never knew existed. I
discovered ways to buy the right property in the right areas at the right time and build a property portfolio
that would deliver me the wealth I was looking for.
Seven investment properties later, and more planned for the future, I’m on the path to achieving my financial
goals and have been inspired by my own success. I changed careers. I became a buyer’s agent. I started my
own business – Liberate Buyer’s Agency. And with this business I aim to guide others onto their own path of
financial success too.
